- Marine insurance provision under which damages or expenses incurred by shippers (whose cargo is exposed to a common danger) are shared among them in proportion to the value of their exposed cargo. Such damages or expenses occur by direct harm to the ship and/or to the cargo, or in a course of action to prevent initial or additional harm to them.
- To highlight the significance & importance of these conventions, their evolution over time and their impact, to increase the awareness about the rights & obligations under these conventions of all the concerned parties involved in the shipping trade.
Date &Time:27th October 2016 from 1400 hrs to 1800 hrs
Course Fee: Rs.3500/- +15% S.Tax = Rs.4025/= (includes snacks / Tea)
Organization which registers four or more participants for the program will be given 10% discount on the Total Invoice value.
Eligibility: Middle/Senior level Managers & HOD, employed in the Shipping Industry
FACULITY – Capt.Satya Narayanan/Maersk Training Centre-Chennai
Master Mariner with over 16 years of Sea-going experience with SCI and Essar Shipping.
Subsequently held various Senior positions with Shipping lines such as DB MADAN Group, Senator Lines, J.M.BAXI and GAC Shipping etc.
He is an active member of the ICS Chennai and accredited Trainer of Trainees by ICS London, in their Industry education programs and seminars.
Presently visiting faculty for the Academy of Logistics Knowledge and external examiner in the panel of IMU-Chennai for their MBA Shipping & Logistics course. As trainer he nurtures an objective to promote and develop talent to cater to the ever increasing need of the industry.
